One year old son teething and has hives
allergies, probably to coloring in the pain med used for teething. Best wishes
What are you giving him for teething? its possible he's allergic to whatever he's chewing on.
Have you changed anything recently in the house, like an air freshner or laundry items? he may have also developed an allergy to one of these.
Take him into the pediatrician and have them check the hives out. Something's not setting right with baby- so have a doc see what's up!
well hives arent from teething, theyre from allergies. they can be caused from stress as well, but i doubt your baby is suffering from stress. im pretty sure your baby is allergic to something that you dont realize and i would recommend taking him to the doctor to get tested for allergins.
They are not hives, thats a teethy rash, every baby gets that during their teething months
If there on his Face they are not Hives they would be called Infant Acne(Weird Name but True) My little one gets it on and off when she teeths but not that it's extremly noticably it just looks like she is blushing, but if it is hives think of what you might have done differently in the past 5 days. Change of food, lotions, soaps, new pets, something new in the house furniture, carpeting, cleaners……ect
Hope he feels better soon
Well I have 2 kids and neither broke out in hives during teething so I don't agree that "all babies get hives when teething". If I were you, I'd call your pediatrician to be on the safe side. Hives are normally caused from an allergic reaction to food, medicine, etc. just call your doctor to be on the safe side. I hope the little guy feels better soon, poor baby.
