I have these "hives" pretty much everywhere on my body and I cannot figure out for the life of me where they are coming from. I have gone to two doctor's and had blood test done. the tests said that I am (barely) allergic to dairy and peanuts, so I have cut those out of my diet (even small traces in products) but I still have these bumps. They are extremely irksome and they like to keep me up all night. I don't think they are allergies, and they don't look like hives persay. Instead of being blotchy, raised bumps they are relatively flat and have an almost definite round shape. They kind of look like bug bites or acne – but they itch like crazy. I attached some pictures of them. I'm going to try and get to a dermatologist or an allergist soon, but if anyone here could help it would be great
This could be a contact dermatitis of some sort, it could be a small staph infection, it could be multiple reasons. have you been applying any cream to make these go away? If not, hydrocortisone cream is a drying cream and may work for the most itchy areas. Taking some benadryl to help you sleep will also stop the itching during the night. a dermatologist might be able to get to the root of the problem for you. Rashes can have causes, some rashes have no cause other than stress and this is the reaction to stress that the body gives.
