My grandaugter was just diagnosed with Hereditary Angioedema. She’s only seven. Anyone have experience with this disease?

I recently had a bad allergic reaction that lasted a few days.
my thighs, calves, feet, arms, hands, armpits, chest, stomache,back, butt, neck, scalp, ears, cheeks and lips all began to swell like crazy. and of course it was excrutiating itchiness, now that the swelling is going down on my arms and legs.. still kinda have it everywhere else, my muscles are so sore like as if i was trying to lift a house and failed. I notice that my muscles hurt alot after an allergic reaction starts to clear up, why is this and what can i do to prevent it?
