My daughter woke this morning with a red rash on her upper back and shoulder. After a cool shower the rash significant dispersed without any further treatment, however approximately 10 hours later the rash returned but this time it covered a much larger area ranging from shoulders chest & torso down to her legs. No rash was present on her face or nape of her neck. the rash on her legs was similar to that of pictures I have viewed on line of hives and was itchy however, and the rash on her torso was similar to that of heat rash. (The weather today has been quite hot and humid but she was in air conditioning during the hottest part of the day). After another luke warm shower the rash only mildly reduced, she was then administered 1 x 2mg Polaramine tablet. the rash has now almost gone but what I am concerned about is: could it be possible that the Polaramine is masking some other problem other than simple a skin rash?
