Recently Ive broken out in sporadic hives on various parts of my body *backs of knees and lower legs, inside of elbows and arms and the sides of my abdomen*. The only recent changes that can be noted is that I recently drank a lot of Goldschlager *alcohol with a small amount of gold flakes in it*. Could a previously unknown Gold allergy cause me to break out in hives?

My friend suddenly broke out in hives and he hasn’t touched anything. All day today he has had abdominal pains and his face is starting to swell up. The only thing he ate this evening was a cup of ramen and some oreos. I need to know what causes this and if there is anything I can do. Also, is it contagious?

My mom’s daycare kids and her sister’s daycare kids have this strange rash on their skin, but not the adults. It looks similar to an allergy hive, but the hives have puss in them and have spread to a few on their legs, faces, arms and stomach. Some think it could be poison ivy, but my mom isn’t sure, because the baby who has this rash just had poison ivy and it went away. Any help would be great.
