“Can I pray for you?” a phrase I would appreciate hearing from a friend. a phrase that might make me nervous coming from my doctor. as some of you know, this last week has been a little crazy with me and my health. It all started last Monday when for some odd reason, I broke out in hives on the backs of my elbows for no apparent reason. then, everyday following, they continually got worse. So, Friday (after they decided to cut off my air supply) I took myself to Urgent Care to receive some relief. after a long visit and 10 prescriptions later, I found myself giving Dr. Beecroft a giant hug thanking her for curing me. No more hives…or so I thought. after coming to work Monday morning, I noticed my bottom lip starting to swell. Swell you say? Aha! you might think this has never happened..and you might be scared for my life…but don’t fear. I’ve dealt with this before. So, I waited it out. No need to panic. then my top lip decided to join in. Taking my lunch break, I returned to my faithful Dr. Beecroft and she decided to give me some cream for my lips. they were at that point battling Angelina Joli in the giant lip contest. I thought, “I’ll just wait it out, let me them go down and go back to work.” wrong..instead of going down, it spread to my eyes and throat. So, I took myself (for the third time) to Dr. Beecroft. she hit me up with some epinephrine and asked if she could pray for me. I’m thankful for this lady. Thankful. Well, it’s only Tuesday and I currently am itching the hives that found their way to my legs today. I shall keep you informed in my upcoming health related blogs. at least someone can get a laugh out of it. Happy Tuesday to you all!
