NewJersey rock band The Parlor Mob only just released their RoadrunnerRecords sophomore album Dogs on October 11, 2011 butiTunes "Rewind" has named it 2011′s RockAlbum of The Year. "Rewind" is iTunes editorialselections for the best music of 2011 and puts The Parlor Mob in the samecompany as Bon Iver, Adele, Lil Wayne, Foo Fighters and many more amongst theirdifferent categories. each genre was broken down for music into Album of TheYear, Song of The Year, and Breakthrough Artist of The Year.
The ParlorMob’s first single, "IntoThe Sun" was featured as iTunes’ single ofthe week October 11, 2011 – October 17, 2011. Additionally, thesports community has embraced "into The Sun" as well with the NHL'sPittsburgh Penguins using the song as a centerpiece of an imaging campaign that hasbeen airing on the local Fox Sports Network this season promoting hockey. Monday Night Football on ESPN, Fox Sports, College Football and Thursday NightKickoff on NFL Network, and NFL on Fox Sport and ESPN are all playing TheParlor Mob songs "into The Sun" and "Fall back."
